I've recently downloaded KeePassXC from GitHub and been checking it again because of its improvement and its larger user base. We have used KeePassXC before Apple App Store decided to not offer them. We use Strongbox on our iPhones and Macs. I have my iPhone, She has her iPhone and iPad Pro.

This is true regardless of using a cloud platform at all, so to the OP, make sure you keep a backup of your DB somewhere (like a USB drive). If you're deplatformed and lose your DB, you're SOL. If the only thing you're using Dropbox for is your Keepass DB, it's probably pretty unnecessary with very little benefit to most users to use something like CryFS. Why stop there? You could just borgbackup your keepass db along with using CryFS and now you have 3 layers of encryption. Keepass or KeepassXC? What are the advantages/disadvantages?įor sure, people can setup another layer of encryption with CryFS but really, what's the point? The keepass DB itself is already fully encrypted, so are you really gaining that much by adding another layer of encryption? That's now 2 layers of encryption they would need to break but they're incredibly unlikely to break the keepass db encryption in the first place (assuming a solid password and keyfile).My other question is, What App should I use? where 1 password is updated on device 1 and another updated on device 3? How will it synchronize the database properly with the last known/added? Could someone share their real world experience? Is it OK and reliable to use something like Dropbox to store the vault.Is keecloud reliable? Is there an equivalent for KeepassXC?.What is the easiest way to sync them continuously on multiple devices in the cloud? (I am not looking for a NAS/VPN kind of setup.).

With that, I do however have a few questions/concerns.

2 Android 10 devices (tablet and phone).I am planning to use the password manager on multiple platforms and systems together. (Slowly but surely moving away from google) I am planning to move to a password manager and stop storing it on Google as I have been for many years now just out of convenience.
